Greg started this business with one truck and a straightforward read on the industry: in portable restrooms, the unit is a commodity. Every company rents more or less the same plastic box. What people are actually buying is whether somebody comes back when they said they would, and whether there is a person to call when something goes sideways between scheduled visits.
Twenty years later that is still the entire operating principle. One truck became several, and Greg hired drivers rather than farming routes out to whoever was cheapest that week — they work for him, they know the sites, and he is out running routes alongside them most weeks. He still quotes the jobs himself. Kim handles a share of the phone — quotes, scheduling, and calling people back. Nothing gets brokered to a company you have never spoken to, and nobody hands you a ticket number.
Practically, it means that when a general contractor in Athens calls about a unit that needs attention before an inspection, the person who picks up already knows which site, which unit, and when it was last serviced — and there is a truck and a driver available to go handle it.

Family owned, and we mean it literally
“Family owned” shows up in the footer of every portable restroom website in North Alabama, including the ones headquartered four states away. Here it means the owner’s grandsons have been climbing on these trucks since they could walk.
Greg Polson — Owner
Who we work with
General contractors, subcontractors, site managers, event organizers, and homeowners.
General contractors managing multi-phase builds get unit counts sized to crew and shift length, placement planned around machinery access, and a service schedule set against the build calendar rather than a fixed route. Units move as the site progresses.
Subcontractors and site managers running smaller crews across several jobs get the same standard on a two-unit job that a fifty-unit development gets. Small jobs are where most operators cut corners, and they are exactly the jobs that generate referrals.
Industrial and plant work — shutdowns, facility construction, and ongoing operations — gets tightened service intervals for the duration, because a large shift crew in an Alabama summer will overwhelm a schedule built for light residential use.
Events and homeowners get units sized to guest count and timed around the gathering, placed before people arrive and collected after the venue clears.
